High-dose intravenous vitamin C
Vitamin C (IVC) may work in killing cancer (chemotherapeutic action):
- Increased production of hydrogen peroxide production (pro-oxidant)
- Anti-angiogenesis (stop the blood supply that feeds cancer)
- Immune system support (interferon, interleukin, etc.)
- Stromal Support
- And many, many, many other ways
Safety of Intravenous Vitamin C:
A 2010 study evaluating the use of vitamin C amongst practitioners revealed, after calculating over 750,000 yearly sales and estimated yearly doses of over 350,000 in 2008, and after evaluating over 9,000 patients, only minor side-effects were noted that included lethargy/fatigue, change in mental status, and vein irritation. Clinically, if these effects occur they are temporary and easily corrected.
Vitamin K3 may be given along with the infusion of vitamin C to increase the effectiveness of the therapy on cancer cells. It acts as a catalyst which can help transfer electrons from the vitamin C in order to make more reactive oxygen species which is toxic to cancer cells.
IV ozone therapy
Ozone (O3) is comprised of three oxygen atoms, whereas oxygen (O2) is made of only two oxygen atoms. When ozone molecules come in contact with your cells, the third oxygen atom essentially bonds to your cells to improve these 4 primary effects: Increase in oxygen efficiency, stimulates immune modulation, improve microcirculation and encourages natural detox. Cancer cells thrive and in anaerobic environment (without oxygen). Ozone supplies extra oxygen can also reduce cancer cells, because cancer doesn’t like oxygen and doesn’t thrive in an oxygenated environment.
Mistletoe is one of the most widely studied complementary and alternative medicine therapies for cancer. Mistletoe is a semi parasitic plant that grows on several types of trees such as apple, oak, pine, and elm. It is usually given by injection under the skin however it may be directly injected into a tumor. Mistletoe extracts contain a variety of biologically active compounds which are cytotoxic, have strong apoptosis inducing effects, enhances cytotoxicity of anticancer drugs, stimulates the immune system, possesses DNA stabilizing properties in white blood cells and enhance endorphins in the body.
Hyperthermia (also called thermal therapy or thermotherapy) is a type of cancer treatment in which body tissue is exposed to high temperatures (up to 113°F). Research has shown that high temperatures can damage and kill cancer cells, usually with minimal injury to normal tissues. By killing cancer cells and damaging proteins and structures within cells hyperthermia may shrink tumors.
